What Matters Most
I got to spend the weekend as Mr Mom b/c Dm was busy with a wedding. I had a great time with the little ones and got to reflect on priorities. Call it my excuse for previous blog issues, but it is hard to spend time on anything else when you are in this stage of life.

Kids are taxing on your time, that is for sure, but such a wonderful investment. I have been watching the show Laguna Beach with Jewell and it's fun to see the coast and talk about the place with her. Makes me miss the west coast so much. And envy your lifestyle somewhat. I can't wait to get back out there. Love you guys.
Yes, Gene, I long at times for the west coast too. I wrote a song (many years ago now) that began as follows (and I had our nights at the local pub in mind as well):
"Should've stayed in California,
when I had the chance.
Could've take up farming
instead of romance."
you need to put that boy in a ramones t-shirt.
He's already got an ACDC shirt. I think my Ramones shirt is still at your folks place.
